Brook Hayer DVM, MS
I am an avid outdoor adventurer and photographer. My goal as an artist is to capture inspiring images in the outdoor world and support the outdoor industry. Plainly stated, I try to see the world differently.
I studied professional photography at Colorado Mountain College in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. While there, I also grew as an athlete focusing on vertical pursuits and whitewater rafting.
In addition to being a photographer, I am a practicing veterinarian focusing on companion animal emergency medicine. I trained at Colorado State University completing a Batchelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences, a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences, and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. My graduate studies focused on molecular physiology, electrophysiology, and neuroanatomy. Currently I am employed at several emergency departments across the west spending most of my time at the Grand Valley Emergency Center in Grand Junction, Colorado.
My science career may be Veterinary Medicine, but my soul and drive evolves around the art of photography.
